Religious Society of Friends of Manitoba Oral History Project
In an effort to learn more about our Quaker roots here in Manitoba, Winnipeg Monthly Meeting with the guidance of oral historian Allison Penner and long time Quaker Elaine Bishop, has embarked on an oral history research project, “‘What Canst Thou Say?’A History of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) in Manitoba”. This video by Gwen Anderson came out of the project and tells the story of her time sitting with Tom Findley, a Quaker who attended meeting in Winnipeg during the 80's.
